Hey Rhess,
Thanks for the report. This was an issue we noticed in version 1.0 of ScribBall, but I think we fixed it for 1.0.1. It has to do with running 10.5 on PowerPC machines, so we wouldn't expect it to happen on your new Intel iMac. In version 1.0.1, the sounds are loaded the same way as the music.
Could you please double-check the bottom left corner of the menu screen of ScribBall on your G4, to make sure it says verion 1.0.1? If the problem is still happening in the new version, we'll look at it again. I think I can borrow a G4 laptop from a friend to test this on if it's still a problem.
